It was held at American Heritage Park in Williamsburg, VA.

Old Business:

Secretary’s and Treasurer’s report was emailed to everyone after the Christmas party in December.

Reports approved.

Thanks to the Trip Captains: Halsteads, Mathenys, and Tolsons.

Welcome to our guest: Maddy

Sunshine Lady Report -  Velda Taylor has homecare coming to the house to help. Ken had a blocked artery, but is not looking at surgery at this time.

Janice Parson – since not a member, memorial is on your own.

Larry Welford forwarded an email on the toys for tots donation.  The marines were thrilled with the toys and thanked us for our support.

SOP’s -

The VA Good Sam’s has been requesting us to redo our chapter bylaws.  We now have SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).  Sandy and Rebecca looked over them and Sandy will make corrections and send out in email form for everyone to look at.  We will approve at the Samboree meeting.

Samboree Plans -

Samboree will be held May 17-19, 2013 at Bethpage Camp-resort in Urbanna, VA.  Applications are available at virginiagoodsam.org.

Hamburger Fundraiser: Kay Karstaedt has been working hard to get the volunteers signed up to help.  Things are organized and going well.

Motorcycle Ride.  Larry Welford is heading up the fundraiser. The Burdettes are coming up with the route. The ride will begin after the Saturday flea market. Cost will be $5.00 per rider.

ODC will also host the Saturday night beverage service.

Saturday night, ODC will have a potluck. Patricia and Mem are organizing.

New Business:

June Campout will be at Misty Mountain.  June 21-23. Burdettes are planning.

July will be at Candy Hill.  Bowen’s are planning.

August was to be at Shenandoah Valley Campground in Verona.  But after further investigation, this campground might not be the best for our group.  We are looking into Rockahock.  We have heard they have made some improvements since the last time we camped there.  Messerles are planning.

The meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully,
Rebecca Messerle
