The meeting was called to order by President Sandy Freed.  Thank you to Larry Welford for organizing the February luncheon.  Also, a thank you for Kay Karstaedt for attending the January State meeting.

Old Business:

Secretary’s and Treasurer’s report was emailed to everyone after the Christmas party in December.

Reports approved.

Sunshine Lady Report:  Velda Taylor has homecare coming to the house to help. Ken is doing well. Bill White has had a hip replacement and is in Culpeper doing physical therapy.  Jim Settles started chemo treatments.  He also has a cat scan scheduled.  Main concern is he is still losing weight.
Report from State Meeting: Spring Samboree news: We signed up for Saturday evening beverage service as in previous years.  There will be no Saturday night option for meal.  There is a golf event on Friday all funds received will go to charity.   Deadline for early registration prices is April 15th.  If attending the Samboree, email Carol so she can get a count for Saturday night meal planning.  Go to www.vagoodsams.com for registration forms.

The theme this year will be “calendar” – meaning we can pick our own theme.  There will be a costume and pet parade.

A treasury report of the State Committee is available – Contact Kay for a copy.

PA Samboree will be in conjunction with the Hershey RV show, Sept 4-6, 2014.

Good Sam will only participate in one RV show per year.  This year was Hampton Roads.  2015 – Richmond,  2016 – Chantilly.

Samboree Plans:

Samboree will be held  in May at Bethpage Camp-resort in Urbanna, VA.

Motorcycle ride. We might use the route planned from last year’s rained out event.

Randy Burdette contacted the Wounded Warrior Project and could not get anyone to do a program for the Samboree. He is currently looking for another charity.

New Business:

April’s campout is in Williamsburg, American Heritage.  April 25 – 27.  Dinner theme will be Wild Wild West.
June campout is in Virginia Beach.  If planning to spend more time than the weekend.  Make your reservations early.  Cost $55.00 per night.
