Meeting Minutes – June 22, 2013
The meeting was called to order by President Dick Bowen
after Saturday night dinner. The June trip had 5 rigs present: Messerle, Halstead,
Bowen, Burdette, and Welford. It was held at Misty Mountain Camp Resort, Greenwood, VA
Old Business:
Secretary’s and Treasurer’s report was emailed to everyone
before the June Campout. Both reports
were approved. The net proceeds from the hamburger sale at the Samboree was
$176.58. This includes the extra food
sales to the club members.
Thanks to the Trip Captains: Burdettes and Halsteads.
Welcome to our guest: Maddy, Amanda, Natalie, Renee, and Ben
(Halstead’s and Bowen’s grandchildren).
Sunshine Lady Report - Bill and Sandy Freed are on their
trip to Alaska. We wish them safe travels.
New Business:
July will be at Candy Hill.
Bowen’s are planning. Email has been sent out for reservation
information.
August will be at Country Way in Luray, VA. Email has been sent out for reservation
information. Messerles and Soden/Wilson
are hosts
September will be at Chesapeake Bay Camp Resort. Plans are being finalized. A email will be sent with reservations
information. Welford’s are hosting
October will be at Grey’s point. More information to come. Freed’s are planning.
Christmas party dates were thrown around. We would like to have the party at the
Strength and Honor Motorcycle club house.
Dates suggested are Dec 7, 8, 14, 15.
Mem is checking to see what is available. We are still in need of someone to organize.
